Fantastic Flannel

When I saw the sample of this quilt at the Hershey Quilt Show I just HAD to get the kit.  Hand dyed flannel - stunningly beautiful.  SewBatik makes them, the price was reasonable, and the end result is gorgeous.  The border is another flannel from my stash.  I will go out tomorrow to acquire batting and backing.  Most likely it will be more flannel or maybe fleece.  It is a full sized quilt and will be a present for a lovely 8 year old girl - the daughter of friends.

Vikings!

I LUV this fabric!  When we were medieval reinactors, my hubby was a Viking. (yes, ladies, I married me a Viking!)

So, this fabric is fun in many ways and I thought boxers shorts for him would be awesome. 

Then he gave me the idea to make them for friends for the holidays.  Then he gave me the other idea to make some for sale!  Then I found girly fabric and thought of making them for girls for sale!

I know, I am silly, but I think it is worth a shot.
